The Pay-As-You-Go Hello GoodBye Show 2014 – Resonance FM Fundraiser
It is once again that time of year whereupon we politely ask you to please help keep Resonance 104.4 FM on-air.
Resonance FM is a community run, not-for-profit radio station and due to wholesale cuts in the arts this year’s fundraising drive is particularly acute. The aim is to raise £50,000, so each and every £ counts!
As with previous years deXter Bentley plans to sell off an entire 90 minute episode of The Hello GoodBye Show at the price of £10 per minute.
If you would like us to air your song, poem or advert etc. then please do get in touch with us as soon as possible.
The Pay-As-You-Go Hello GoodBye Show 2014 will be broadcast between noon and 1.30 pm on Saturday 15th February and we would ideally like to have received all entries by Wednesday 12th February.
There are a full 90 minutes to be sold and you are welcome to purchase as much FM airtime as you desire: 1 minute = £10 / 3 and a half minutes = £35 / 10 minutes = £100 etc.
Resonance FM would be very grateful of any support you are able to offer (and if you are unable to participate yourself then please spread the word anyhow)
Simply follow this link: SUPPORT , make your donation, then forward us your receipt of payment along with your chosen sound-file to: dexterbentley@hotmail.com
We dearly hope you are able to assist us in our ambition to raise money for London’s only dedicated Art’s radio station.
Hello GoodBye – 18.01.14 – Ft: Teeth Of The Sea + The Tumbledryer Babies
Resonance FM’s Hello GoodBye Show presents live music from London’s premier instrumental psych-noise masters Teeth Of The Sea, plus quirky pop from Southend-on-Sea’s pithiest one man band The Tumbledryer Babies.
Since their formation in 2006, London-based Teeth Of The Sea have metamorphosized into the most adventurous psychedelic rock… outfit in the UK. Taking on board influences like Morricone, Eno, Delia Derbyshire, Goblin, and the Butthole Surfers , they’ve arrived at an incendiary sound that marries the aural enlightenment of an avant-garde sensibility with the reckless abandon of trashy rock & roll.
Southend-on-Sea’s pithiest pop group, The Tumbledryer Babies, is a one man band made up of singer/bassist Andrew Moore. Since the first Tumbledryer Babies appearance in 2007 he has released 14 albums, 4 EPs and 3 singles, most of which were recorded in Andrew’s bedroom, although he has also made records with Kramer (Galaxie 500, Daniel Johnston, Jad Fair) and Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers, Meat Puppets). As a trio The Tumbledryer Babies played at SXSW in 2011 but since then Andrew has performed as a solo act.
The next record will be available for free download on 1st March from HERE.

Hello GoodBye – 11.01.14 – Ft: Gurgles and Sugar Magnolia
Hello GoodBye kicks off 2014 with live music from Gurgles and Sugar Magnolia.
Brother and sister Augustin Bousfield and Nanette Brimble along with Bradley Cunningham are
Gurgles. Gurgles are space-echo drenched. Rotary speaker-ed Fender Rhodes, phasing OSCar
synthesiser and off-kilter arrangements recall a psychedelic Steely Dan, Jim O’Rourke and
Dennis Wilson hovering over the Bradford skyline with a Yellow Magic Orchestra synth
fizzing in and out of orbit. Far out they may be, but pop music is Gurgles’ foundation with glistening hooks and sibling
harmonies.
Their debut AA single: You Send Me Up / You’re Madder Than Me is available now!
Sugar Magnolia is the new collaboration between Jack Day and Bryony Afferson.
Bryony Afferson is part of folk-trio Troubadour Rose, whose record Tell Me, released in September this year, attracted rave reviews from The Guardian and the Daily Express amongst others.
Jack Day’s The First Ten, released in January this year, also attracted top reviews across the music press, including being named Best Roots Album in Q Magazine.
