Hello GoodBye serves up a double helping of living legends this lunchtime with Adam Green and blurt performing live in session.
At the tail end of the last millennium, native New Yorker’s Adam Green and Kimya Dawson helped trail-blaze the original U.S. Anti-Folk scene with their band The Moldy Peaches. Adam has since gone on to forge a provocative, beguiling and varied artistic career as a musician, filmmaker, writer and artist. His latest musical offering was in tandem with Binki Shapiro on a set of lush duets. He can currently be found touring the UK and Europe in an intimate and scaled down acoustic capacity.
Septuagenarian Ted Milton possessed a passion for book binding, poetry and puppetry, prior to his formation of the post-punk pioneering outfit blurt back in the early 80’s. Still found with saxophone in hand, he continues to forge new frontiers with a seemingly unquenchable and fervent energy, far beyond the reach of us mere mortals. His current 7” single Let Them Be is out now on Blank Editions.
