Hello GoodBye info – 29.11.14 – Ft: Dee Sada + Comet Sands

Dee Sada and Comet Sands perform live in session on Resonance FM’s Hello GoodBye Show this Saturday lunchtime.

Dee Sada

Multi-instrumentalist, Dee Sada (voice/drums/guitar/bass/piano) is hugely inspired by the confessional poetry of Anne Sexton and Sylvia Plath and the work of outsider artist, Mary Barnes, who was a resident of radical psychiatrist RD Laing’s therapeutic community at Kingsley Hall in the 1960s. She is currently working on an experimental sound piece based on Mary Barnes’ story, The Hollow Tree.

Dee’s musical inspirations range from German New Wave band, Malaria! to Indian classical Carnatic vocalist, M. S. Subbulakshmi.

Comet Sands admire and endorse Circle, Yes, Harmonia, Superchunk, Endless Boogie, Total Control, the first nine Status Quo albums and thinking about space.

Listen live via Resonance FM between midday and 1.30pm (GMT).
