Joanne Robertson and Lies Init perform live in session on Hello GoodBye this Easter weekend.

Best known by some as either a poet or a visual artist, Joanne Roberston
is equally threatening as a guitarist and songwriter. Her songs, like
her other work, contain a mysterious blend of presumed informality and
intense focus, transforming any space into a late-night parlor, dimly
lit and smokily accented.

Lies Init, they play like monks in a casino, like a left foot denying its rights.
A bird who’s lost its voice stamps on a contact mic. Comfortable as a tramp in a bank,
they make their beds and lies init!
