Multi-instrumentalist, percussionist, songwriter & composer Renu recently self-released her debut LP ‘Love from London’ to critical acclaim. The album was recorded over a two year period in London, Paris, Warsaw & Toronto and features a host of collaborators, including Seb Rochford (Polar Bear / Acoustic Ladyland) and Anna Tabbush (Tabbush English Folk Family.) The influence of Gainsburg, Drake & Morricone can all be heard in the cinematic scope of Renu’s music, all swept along with the atmospheric combination of viola and theramin.
No Cars are an all-girl Japanese trio who first met and formed in London. They have declared themselves the new ‘Queens of Cute‘ and perform delightful Bubblegum-Pop ditties about bananas, octopuses and Sellotape.
