The deXter Bentley Hello GoodBye Show. An upbeat, eclectic new and live music show hosted by deXter Bentley every Saturday lunchtime between 12:00-13.30 hrs [GMT] on Resonance 104.4 FM (London) and Pawarota Radio (Poland).
Featuring; Spizzology performing live in session. Spizz (aka Kenneth Spiers) first burst onto the punk scene in 1977 when impulsively grabbing the microphone for an impromptu and a Capella caterwaul in-between bands at a Siouxsie & The Banshees gig at Barbarella’s nightclub in Birmingham, his un-abandoned joie de vivre immediately won over the partizan crowd and propelled him into the public eye. Spizz’s world view was soon mapped out in a series of ‘prophetic’ vinyl releases that focused in on a series of subjects that are as disturbingly prescient today as they were almost a full 50 years ago, including themes of military profiteering, the ecology, energy crisis & fascism. Today in the studio Spizz is joined by his long standing lead guitarist Luca Comencini to perform a short set of acoustic songs under the monicker Spizzology.
